This Gray/Phoenix 14′ Vertical Boring Mill was installed at a large power generation shop in February 2010. This machine used the basic frame of a Gray manual vertical boring mill but added full CNC controls and ball screws as well as a new ram (with 108″ stroke) and ram housing. The Phoenix Rail leveling and elevation system was also added to this machine. Parts up to 14′ in diameter and 16′ tall can be turned on this machine.
